BS"D
AMEYN, Rachel! You have deftly encapsulated here an organic truth of being embodied. Just like Qohelet/Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 tells us, to every thing there is a season, & a time to every purpose under the Heaven, & you have beautifully illustrated that here, both with your scholarship & with your experience.

Miqveh is an integral part of my work. Next time someone tells me that I should write Sifrei whilst b'niddah, I'll have a more eloquent way of putting the issue (pun intended) to them :)

This explains a very difficult passage and set of laws eloquently, as well as touching on a truth I hadn't realized about my own close experiences with those who are sick and dying. Thank you; I will really take this to heart!

Your ability to plunge into some of the most often-cited anti-feminist laws of Torah and bring back out common sense and wisdom is, well, it's a gift for you and a pleasure for your reader.
